Miami Heat are allegedly interested in signing Lillard this offseason. With training camps about to start in September, the NBA trade rumors appear to have subsided a bit. That does not imply that they have stopped altogether. The premier player for the Philadelphia 76ers, James Harden, has recently made interesting headlines after asking to be traded at the end of the last campaign. A recent source states that this off-season, negotiations concerning Harden’s trade between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers are anticipated. Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers was another NBA standout who requested a trade. Even the preferred destination, Miami Heat, was laid out by him.

Lillard is still set on joining the Miami Heat for the upcoming season, according to a new report from The Athletic.

Portland does not appear to be quite content with what the Heat are providing, though.

The Athletic said that since early July, the Miami Heat had been preparing to make a package offer to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Damian Lillard. On the other side, James Harden reportedly wants to depart the Philadelphia 76ers before the upcoming season.

This offseason, it’s anticipated that talks about a Harden deal would resume between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers, according to a report in the Athletic.

Daryl Morey, the president of basketball operations for the 76ers, has stated that the team is looking for a method to fulfill Harden’s request for a trade.

NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) James Harden was traded by the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers back in September of the previous year. The three-time scoring champion, Paul Millsap, as well as Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond were sent to the Nets in return for their services. They also received two first-round draft picks. In each of his previous three seasons, Harden has recorded at least 20 points and 10 assists.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, two of the NBA’s most powerful wings, play for the Los Angeles Clippers club, although the team has not had particularly strong recent results.

When either Kawhi or George were absent, or both, the Clippers’ form suffered. So it makes sense for the Clippers to add someone like Harden.

On the other side, Damian Lillard asked the Portland Trail Blazers for a trade in July of this year. His connection with the franchise has changed considerably since then.

Lillard just sent out a cryptic tweet that stoked rumors regarding his future in the NBA. The 33-year-old wrote, “Either you play the game or let the game play you and be that broke mf talking about I stayed true.

Lillard reportedly wants to play alongside NBA talents like Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Miami is seen as a top contender from the Eastern Conference after reaching the NBA Finals the previous season.

By now, you’re surely aware that Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo was announced alongside a possible trade in which Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers would join the Heat. However, Adebayo isn’t being mentioned as a component of the agreement; rather, it’s being said as one of the reasons Lillard would like to join the Heat in the first place, something you might not be aware of. Several sources claim that the two are actually very close and that their friendship began when they were teammates on Team USA. In fact, Adebayo acknowledged to the public recently that he and Lillard are good friends.
